Anyone got any of those spurious words and their tongue-in-cheek meanings to share?
As an example (I like this, but did not originate it): BEELZEBUG - A pestilent insect that buzzes around your bedroom at three in the morning and cannot be cast out.
Autopia - the sense of joy and elation experienced when you find a vacant parking space right outside the place you are going to. Buckstop - the space left between the person using the ATM and the next person in the queue. I-jacking - the practice of following a conversation in order to spot the exact moment when you can jump in and make it all about you. Critterbugging - the frantic dance executed when you accidentally walk into a spiderweb. Weapon of Multiplex Distraction - the annoyingly loud cellophane used to wrap candy in movie theatres.
