I have not really paid any attention because the media is not being 'straight shooters' in this election. (or probably in any recent election)

The media is never a straight shooter.

I've already been turned off and have tuned out.  I don't care what either of them say any longer and Election Day can't come soon enough for me so I don't have to be exposed to the 24/7 political crap.

I'm sure YOU can tell I'm fed up with all of it. Politics! Bah Humbug!  The candidates say the same things every day. Both sides. Nothing new. Nothing fresh. Nothing creative. Sameoldsameoldsameoldsameold! AARRGGHH! Every day Trump says something else outrageous. It doesn't matter what. It's all the same. Every day Hillary denies the same old stuff that EVERYONE KNOWS happened.  It doesn't matter what. It's all the same. Where is the inspiring and uplifting and energizing rhetoric that makes us feel PROUD to be Americans? I don't buy that America is a disaster and the military  is a disaster and the world is a disaster. I know there is trouble everywhere. But there are also silver linings and good times and beautiful things going on as well. They both focus on the bad. WHY? It's easy to take potshots at anyone at any time for any reason but HOW is that helpful? We already KNOW what's not going right. They keep beating us over the head with it. Tell us what you plan to do to FIX it  WITHOUT going over the same old stuff! It's wearing me out. Maybe I need to take a break from it. It's just so dam* boring m2c! Thanks for letting me rant. I appreciate it! It isn't ONLY THE MEDIA. It's the candidates themselves who are stuck in the same spot like a broken record. Geez it can drive you bonkers! :(

You're smarter than me honey. I've reached that point NOW and you were there already! Good for you! They both are now officially boring as he**. The same stuff has been coming out of their mouths EVERY DAY for months now and more to come. They keep repeating what is bad about each other. WE KNOW. MOVE ON ALREADY! Trump has daily outrageous things to say to get attention. They all sound the same. Hillary denies what we KNOW is true. I don't know why she keeps doing that! It's infuriating that they think so little of the American public that they keep feeding us the same bread and water daily and expect us to survive on it. AARRGGHH! Thank you for your reply Spunky and  Happy Sunday m'dear!  :) ((hugs))

So you blame the media too? How about the boring as he** candidates who have kept repeating the sameoldsameoldsameoldsameold crap for months? Nothing new. Nothing creative. Nothing inspiring. All they do is take potshots at each other. WE KNOW. MOVE ON.  Broken records both of them. The media does not put words in their mouths. The media just photographs them and records them as they both hang themselves daily. Meanwhile we are bored to death with both of them. Thank you for your reply bh and Happy Sunday! :)

Oh Hillary is much smarter than that.  Trump is not.

I would say the GOP may think of some lie to cover him, but it is too late to turn TRUMP into a racehorse when he is a mule.  You cannot take a horse's harness and put it on a mule and "presto-change-o".

It is still a jackass.  Hee HAW.  The GOP is not much smarter.  They keep proffering up idiots over and over.  First Romney, now THIS?  They are devolving.

Hillary, I think will go beyond TRUMP and get an energized political  life.

  • There are two things we must do. First, accept that the outcome is already known.  Second, it makes it easier to relax and enjoy the entertainment value of the entire carnival sideshow.

The next few months will be something we must get through. I do not look forward to it Sharonna. Do you? Thank you for your thoughtful reply. It is sad that Trump is the best the GOP could come up with. But I would rather have had a different Dem candidate too. I will vote for Hillary of course because there is no other viable choice for  ne. I hope she wins in a landslide thus repudiating and humiliating Trump and his adoring worshipful supporters. But I won't hold my breath. Because rigging the election will be rampant...restricting voting hours/locations and increasing requirements will escalate in every red state.  Cheating is second-nature to pols who MUST WIN AT ALL COSTS. There will be lawsuits. And if SCOTUS steps in and decides who will occupy the White House as they did before then all of the moaning/groaning/agony/effort will have been for nothing. As I said.I do  not look forward to it.
