"A peculiar guy" ??? You will have to do better than that.

Anyways, the founding fathers said the same thing, that is why there are procedures for amending the constitution.

    and many years later:

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, right or wrong - is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."

Rosie, I bet you anything that if TRUMP were asked what an electoral college was?  He could not tell you.

He would pull a Sara Palin and make a total ass out of himself trying to make up an answer.

He would pay someone to answer.  Like he paid that speech writer, to make up a brain for his wife.

in the US) a body of people representing the states of the US, who formally cast votes for the election of the president and vice president.

    • a body of electors chosen or appointed by a larger group.

And YES, ROSIE, HE IS FULL OF IT.

  • Many people disdain the Electoral College. There is much talk of abolishing same. There is a process to accomplish that very thing. Just as there are processes stipulated in the Constitution for government to function within. In my own opinion, anytime a president, any president, uses executive orders to the extreme, it shows a lack of confidence in the law, or a complete disdain. We are bound only to the extent that until it's replaced by something else, it's what we have as a nation of laws and it's what we'll abide by.
