    Gemini. Beer, particularly Pilsner. I prefer the floral aroma of Saaz hops.

    I think some years back you listed some of your favorite beers for me Sbf. Aussie beers I think they were . You say "floral" aroma. Like roses or carnations or gardenias or honeysuckle? Is it faintly sweet in taste as well? Ever have a fruity beer? My particular favorite was an apricot beer. It wasn't really sweet but it had such a nifty flavor.     You need to be a connoisseur to "get" it, it's a subtle thing. Hops are generally used as a bittering agent, certainly not sweet. The flavour of Saaz hops is described as "floral", it's bright.
    Your apricot beer doesn't sound like my "cup of tea", so to speak - and neither is it beer, technically. Das Rheinheitsgebot (beer purity laws) categorically state that beer may contain barley malt, hops and water (the action of yeast was unknown at the time, the law was later amended to take note of this). No sugar, no fruit, no adjuncts, no crap of any kind.
