Did McCabe give Mueller memos of interactions with Trump because he was fired, or was he fired because he gave Mueller the memos?

He was fired for leaking and lying.

FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR)  reviewed the report and underlying documents and issued a disciplinary proposal recommending the dismissal of Mr. McCabe.  Both the OIG and FBI OPR reports concluded that Mr. McCabe had made an unauthorized disclosure to the news media and lacked candor—including under oath—on multiple occasions.

Now, the attorney general — who has repeatedly been publicly pressured by President Trump to do more to stymie Trump’s political enemies — wants the American public to believe he fired McCabe because he’s concerned about integrity.

A more likely motivation for McCabe’s firing was alluded to by President Trump in a tweet responding to the news — one in which he tried to discredit McCabe and his former boss, Jim Comey.

McCabe was an FBI Special Agent for over 21 years. He spent half of that time investigating "RUSSIAN" Organized Crime as a street agent and Supervisor in New York City. It comes into play with his firing too...
