It is not an ELECTION* if the outcome is known and predictable in advance. It is a dog&pony show for the gullible. Russia perhaps?

*Election

The SELECTION of a person or persons for office by vote

An election depends upon selection. Putin gets rid of his opponents by any means necessary. The Russian "election" result is a foregone conclusion. A sure thing. A YOOOOGE joke.
Putin is a person who always gets what he wants. Donjohn admires that and wants that for himself along with anything that wears skirts and isn't nailed down. His supporters deny him nothing and want for him everything he wants for himself which is everything there is. Like indulgent parents whose lives revolve around their golden child who can do no wrong. SIGH.

With all of this talk today about elections being rigged in some way, how many of the past political elections, starting with the very first election, do you think have been rigged? All of them? Some of them? Most of them? Or just the ones that the Republicans have won? Or just the ones the Democrats have one? There has to be some sort of starting point of all these supposed rigged elections right? There has to be a bedrock foundation of knowledge and truth to compare the past, present, and future elections too. This post was edited by rusureamisure? at March 18, 2018 11:03 AM MDT

In the US it is still an election. There are many areas where only one party is on the ticket because it is a waste of time and money to run in the general. ie. Chicago normally a Den will go unchallanged. In my district there will be no local Dems on the ticket. The election that matters is the primary in these type areas.
