I am thinking ordinary people.. we have, generally speaking a very different view of guns here. I have had my head thoroughly buried for the last month of so in my assignment so I've no idea what's going on in the world.
America is insanely obsessed with guns. Well that's not quite true. It is only the GUN PEOPLE part of America who are fanatically obsessed with them. The rest of the world isn't and the rest of we Ameicans aren't and can't understand the WHY of the fixation. Well people can be obtuse when it comes to their beliefs. Very emotional. Not very intellectual. Any passion driven by emotion usually is senseless. This gun obsession is one of them. Of course it is driven by fear. The gun people are very afraid to be without them. The more they have the safer they feel. Go figger! Thank you for your reply Addb. I'll enjoy it when your studies are done and you can get back on the horse so to speak on Answermug and we can resume our daily commiseration discussions! :)
