What are some examples where bible stories kind of co-relate to the magic of fairy tale stories?

Eg: a woman turning into a pillar of salt; a coach turning into a pumpkin (Cinderella)

Little Red Riding Hood conversation with a talking wolf; Eve having conversation with a talking snake

The second part of the famous bible story of the escape of Lot and his family from Sodom ('a woman turning into a pillar of salt') is, I suggest, not suitable for children under ten. After Lot's wife turns into a pillar of salt he and his daughters find sanctuary in a cave in the mountains. According to the bible, an unimpeachable source some would claim, Lot's two daughters conspire to get their father drunk and inveigle him into having sexual relations with them so that they can have children. (The suggestion is that the whole world has been destroyed in the cataclysm and so it is up to them to found future generations). Anyway, another excellent biblical lesson in making do in a tough situation using whatever is to hand.
