Most of the WHITE BILLIONAIRES are racist.

They would simply take their money and spin the BLACK POWER thing.

It is not about skin color.  It is about elitist racist pigs in power.   And, I'm sorry.  Black people are just as capable of being evil as the rich whites.  Just give them the money and power and they can go either way as well.  They can either be a Jimmy Carter type like Obama or they can be  a BEN CARSON type like Trump.  Or the many black dictators who have terrorized the world during their hideous reigns.

It is not about color.  It is about CHARACTER.

Trump has ZERO and neither did IDI AMIN.

I disagree. It is about  black. It is about color. Slaves were black. Lynchings were black. Emmett Till was black. All the young unarmed men being killed by cops are black. It they weren't black their lives would have been entirely different.  The white racists need to be black to have a clue how heinous and ugly and evil they are because they will be treated exactly like they treated others. Of course that would mean that blacks and other people of color would have to be racists to do the deed or pretend to be and I'm not so sure THEY could handle it. I think causing others to suffer what you have suffered takes a certain vindictive viciousness. THAT would have to do with character of course. So it's moot because there are problems with the logistics. Even so it would be good for them to get back the poison they dish out so dam* self-righteously. So they can experience/suffer exactly what they put out there. It's the only way. Character schmaracter. Black is the point. White Rules. White Supremacists are the evil. Are there black supremacists? I dunno. When was the last time you heard of a black cop shooting an unarmed white boy and walking? Charlottesville was replete with WHITE racists who marched of whom doofylucy said "there are some good people there. Both sides are to blame". Such drivel bullsh** crap doofylucy regurgitates . Doofylucy said that about AMERICAN NAZIS. So we disagree thee and me.  Thank you for your reply HEP and Happy Monday. This post was edited by RosieG at April 2, 2018 2:04 AM MDT

  • Thank you for that narrow minded and misguided diatribe. Your black and white (and erroneous) viewpoint conveniently leaves out the genocide perpetrated against Native Americans, the internment of Asians by the US government, the Holocaust(a racial and religious persecution) and a host of others worldwide. Some may buy into it, but fortunately, most of us know better.

Your faith in me is very heartwarming if a tad bit condescending and pretentious. I know you can't help it. When we know better we do better. Not me. Not my words. T'was Maya Angelou who said that. Thank you for your observations. This post was edited by RosieG at April 5, 2018 2:57 AM MDT

guess you don't like the answers..thats okay..we both know them, same as you know who makes a living keeping the races divided ....have a great day.... (P.S. and if you think all slaves were black...then you seriously need to research instead of just parroting what you hear) This post was edited by maggie at April 3, 2018 5:40 PM MDT

     Lynchings were black. ....No.
    Emmett Till was black....ok
All the young unarmed men being killed by cops are black....No, not all unarmed people shot by police are black.

I know you follow the news and so know this is false.

Sure you are right, Rosie, but that doesn't contradict what I am trying to say. You are just talking about this on different levels.

Yes, black people have had the experience of being black.  White people need to come down a peg.  On that part I agree.  But my point was that black people are just as capable as white people are when it comes to doing the greed thing and wanting to grab power.

Not all black people are Martin Luther King just because whitey has oppressed them unfairly.

But I do understand where you are coming from.

Thank you for the clarification. Is there any WHITE person we celebrate for the same reasons we celebrate the life of Martin Luther King Jr? I can't think of one. :(

" Just give them the money and power and they can go either way as well. "

    Not even necessary.

Blacks are racist towards their own.
If their skin the wrong shade (either too black or not enough).
If they date/marry outside their ethnicity.
If they live in the wrong area of town (either too poor or too rich).

The whole irony about racism based on skin color is ... as different ethnics interbreed, the skin color lightens.

The skin color lightens to what?  Coffee color?

I think Trump and his WHITER than WHITE race would hate that.

    It actually lightens to "white".

Of course, the darker the original skin pigment the more generations it takes.

(Ever hear the phrase "high yellow"?  Or the song "Yellow Rose of Texas"?
Both refer to someone of mixed African / Caucasian heritage.)

It is also part of the reason many blacks are bigoted against other blacks, who have lighter/darker skin than their own.

What WHITE person do we celebrate for the same reasons we celebrate the life of Dr. King? Thank you for your reply Walt and Happy Thursday! :)

I would say President Lincoln would be close.

Though I think it's sad that we celebrate Dr King as if he was the only force of the Civil Rights Movement.

We should celebrate everyone who participated.
I mean, yes, Dr King was a strong speaker ... but without those who "crossed the lines", nothing would have changed.
The same with the "women's suffrage" movement.
If you think about it - it is why the Civil Rights Movement bogged down so much after Dr King's assassination.  Because everybody viewed him as the only leader, and nobody really stepped up to "carry the flag" after his death.

I cannot disagree or argue with anything you've written in your response Walt. Here's the thing. Most people are followers not leaders. It's just not in them. They don't have the "right stuff".  So when a leader dies the followers just look for the next leader. I don't think you can blame someone for how he/she is wired do you? I'm gonna ask. You raise some valid points. I'm also going to ask why there aren't more leaders? Thank you for your reply Walt and Happy Friday! :)

I would say it likely has something to do with the fact that leadership is more cerebral than physical ... and our schools still place more emphasis on physical than cerebral challenges.  We cut funding for everything except sports.  Teachers favor the physical athletes.  Kids who stand out due to intelligence are bullied.

It's even worse for blacks.  Their kids are constantly shown role models "proving" that the "only way" to better themselves is through physical sports.

He is very pasty colored Sbf. Unhealthy. He does't exercise. He sits in bed eating cheeseburgers in the early evening as he watches Fox News relentlessly and relgiously. After he watches Fox in the morning he begins his tweets based on what the faux Fox  folks say as if it is his own idea. He is empty-headed and requires others to put thoughts there. He is figuratively and literally a dumb-a**.

In 1964 there was a movie called "Black Like Me." It is a true story about a writer who wanted to know how it felt to be black.
