I don't flock. I'm an individual with my own thoughts, words, deeds, and beliefs. There may be others that have many of the same thoughts, words, deeds, and beliefs that I do, but that doesn't mean I sit on the same branch as they do. Some may call me ugly because of that, which is fine. :)
First of all thanks for not letting the way I asked the question dissuade you from answering it. Some people find that off putting. I was an English major so I know better. Sometimes I just play with language because I feel like it. Some folks play with me when I do but not too many. I'm not a flocker. I'm a loner. But when I engage with folks I stay away from those who give off "negative vibes". I really can't explain it. It's just an attitude or temperament that makes me uncomfortable. I was painfully shy as a child. I think I've pretty much outgrown that BUT I am very sensitive to what people "give off" and it's hard explain unless you've experienced it. Some people are very afraid of being alone, independent. They need to belong. They need to be accepted. They need approval. They will sublimate/ignore/give up many things to be part of a group. I've never been that way and I don't understand those who are. I don't require agreement to get along with or like someone. I require civility and I don't enjoy being scammed or conned or lied to. Maybe it's something as simple as a "bedside" manner. Some are very lousy in that regard and some are superduper. There are folks with whom I am always comfortable and folks with whom I never am. I seek the former and avoid the latter. Thank you for your reply ru. I'm not a joiner. The exception being Answerbag..the only other internet social site I ever joined and Answermug when Answerbag closed up shop.There is a history and specific reason for the why of that! :)
