Do you really think you're ready to be a mother ?

I'm way past menopause.

By the time I was mature enough to do a decent job of it, I was physically too old to conceive.

I think this is a very common human problem,

and one reason why, if our parents are functional enough,

they deserve a huge role in guiding and assisting us.

As long as they're willing.

My SO has a grown son half my age. Though physically I can conceive, we've decided we shan't have a child of our own. 

I don't see the Trump connection, though. Or is it a cut-and-paste oversight?

Yes I am ready.  I have a lovely child in mind whom I love very much.
