"The Rest of the Story" was really cool. I remember learning lots of interesting things from it. They tried to continue it with Harvey's son but it did not have the same feeling to it and did not last long.
He was on just forever - I think maybe when my parents were young. No never cared for him because he always seemed like an old man barking at everyone.
Yours is an interesting take on Harvey to me, officegirl. I think I only heard of him toward the end of his career. But though I probably enjoyed him more than you did, I, too, often found him rather "barking." Or, at least to me, he sometimes came across as arrogant and condescending to his audience. Well, don't we all at times probably. (I'm just typing/thinking out loud now.) (Yikes, I hope I don't get attacked for saying all this!)
