What's the longest stay you've had in a hospital, and what was it for?

For me it was five days, for a severe gastrointestinal problem about six years ago.

  • A couple days. It was for an infection I had as a kid. I've never had surgery before, though.

  • about 3 hours. I was dehydrated. I didn't want to go because I didn't want to pay a bill. It was at work.
