Why don't wall lovers sign a petition to BORROW the $25 billion it will cost to build the wall from China? That will shut them up won't it?

They clearly do not give a rat's a** about debt so why not rack it up to $30 trillion? Who cares? It's just numbers. I think right now it's around $20 Trillion. What's another $10 trillion if you can get your wall?. Make it first class. Spend a trillion on it. Make it be one of the wonders of the world. Make it a destination resort. Visitors from all over the world will flock to see it. They can't go through it of course. They can only just look at it from the other side.  Donjohn can charge admission. Building a Trump Hotel where they will stay while they pay and pay and pay. Sell souvenirs. Sell beer. Sell tacos and enchiladas and tamales while Mariachi Bands play on the Mexican side of the wall to entertain. Another source of easy income for the donjohn crew. Lotsa untapped potential there. :(

    The wall will have a net positive effect by keeping out hoards of illegals. Illegals are a liability. They take more out of the system than they pay in. It is estimated that illegals cost the U.S. government $116 billion a year, and you're worried about the chump change it costs to build a wall....

    Some leftists are too stupid to see that resources are limited, some just don't care, and some are maliciously trying to destroy their country. After all, what happens when economies collapse? Millions of desperate people vote left. So one can't expect the far left to be very concerned. Leftism feeds on human suffering.

    I spent ages trying to convince left wingers that their ideas don't bring prosperity. It has no effect because they don't want prosperity. They want equality. You can't reason with them. They're never going to change.

    No problem here. The $25-30B it will cost is a bargain. We spend 3 to 4 times that much every year on illegals.  So we will be ahead in long run.
