Yes, talk is indeed cheap. The POTUS may make the same mistake his predecessor made by drawing a line in the sand and erasing it. Whether a leader chooses to talk and act aggressively or to stand down and back off, Russia's role in the ultimate and final showdown has been determined in their alliances with Iran, Syria and others in the region.
