I assume you are teasing me bevo. That is exactly and precisely what the goofydoofylucy does. You are nothing at all like him. I don't mean we have to be martyrs and self-sacrificing. That is tiresome/tedious/uninteresting. BUT it seems to me that those who always put themselves first are also tiresome/tedious/uninteresting and you are none of those things. There is a healthy mix I think and those lucky folks who have found it live the best lives in my opinion. I do like the graphic though. That should have been what was on the hat of the goofydoofylucy instead of "make america great again" and he should have had TRUMP written all over it too. Yes, that sequence is important to me. Country to me means not just what makes it a country (laws, etc) but more importantly, the people in it. Which means I would rather put the country before my pleasures. I don't have a whole passel of pleasures I enjoy but I'd gladly give em up to help others/people in the country if I can and when I can. Did that make sense? :)
((hugs)) Yep. That makes a lot of sense and I totally agree. If you love and appreciate your country it seems to me to be an OBLIGATION of being a citizen. There aren't that many citizenly obligations if you think about it. We should at least be interested in the health of our country and do our part as much as we can to contribute to it. This country's not perfect by any stretch but I feel blessed to have been born here and live here. I try to give back to society and it's people as much as I can. And what's cool is that most of the time you get back in return. Gotta love it. You're welcome and you enjoy your Friday as well. :)
