    I think speakers in all languages have an equivalent.  However the answer is no, not everyone uses OK.  Some may share it but I know not all do.

    English and Spanish use it, and that pretty much covers the whole world.

    I doubt that. Pronouncing two different (and alien) phonemes in sequence is not easy.

    But I am pretty sure everyone in all countries will understand "OK", at least when it is said by an American

  • The term "OK" has certainly spread from English into other languages, but no, they don't all use it. Languages have various ways of expressing "okayness". Japanese has the word "yoshi" that means "alright!" or "ok!" when used as an interjection. Many languages have something similar.
