I have a grand-niece who is 8 and has been put in some special school for 'the gifted'. She will grow up to be a beauty, no doubt. She has an older brother who will watch over her.

That's awesome!. I don't know if you know who Danica McKellar is. She was a child actress in a TV sitcom with Fred Savage. She played "Winnie". She is currently acting in some Hallmark Channel stories and she was a contestant on "Dancing with the Stars" a few seasons ago. She is a math genius and spends a lot of time talking to girls to encourage them to check out math. I think she may have written some books as well. I think she goes on lecture tours too. I love that! Good for her! Another math genius is the actress Miam Bialick. I'm sure I spelled it wrong but she was a child actress and played a role in the movie "Beaches" decades ago. She is currently in a popular TV sitcom. I can't remember the name of it. Thank you for the info bh! :)
