Anytime another bully shows up on the map, such as Iraq, Iran, Afgan, or North Korea, somebody has to put them in their place. Otherwise, those rogue leaders kill everyone.
What the doofus did wasn't worthwhile bh. Assad went to work the next day as if nothing happened. Nothing significant happened in Syria. The goofydoofylucy gave them enough time to move whatever they didn't want destroyed to someplace else. What sane person does that?. Nothing Russian was targeted. It was a tiny pin prick that was for show more than anything else. I think it is useless. Mattis says it was a one-time thing. The goofydoofylucy says it will be sustained and if Assad chemical weapons his people again we will send missiles again. Russia says if we do there will be severe consequences. Nothing has changed. Assad was not diverted or thwarted. He made fun of the "attacks". We are a laughingstock once again. SIGH. It keeps happening. The goofydoofylucy doesn't have a clue what to do. Wonderful.
