More kind, almost all kind, it's rare in real life that I encounter ignorant, arrogant people.. in that I am fortunate and yes, I actively do try to help people and be pleasant. My manager snidely says I am nice to everyone.. she doesn't mean it in a nice way :(

You have a manager? Are you an author or something Addb? If I'm not being too nosy why do you need a manager? I cannot believe anyone would speak to you in a snide snarky sarcastic manner. Clearly such a person is unmannerly. I have always found you to be kind and polite though you do say what is on your mind which I appreciate but I do the same thing. But you know that.. I  don't understand folks who  waste time lying. If you aren't going to share your truth of what use are you to anyone? But you do as far as my experience with you goes and I cannot imagine you being duplicitous. Thank you for your reply! :)

No. Other than here, I rarely talk to anyone except my wife, my sisters and my children. I am always kind and civil.

Thought-provoking and full of information that you kindly share with us as well. Answermug is my main social interaction. I don't pal around with others. I'm a homebody. Jim is the social one and he plays tennis and golf and likes to go out putzing doing guy stuff at Harbor Freight or Lowe's or Home Depot. Not my cuppa tea . Oh. Yesterday he and his friend played in a local golf tournament and he won $23 for his putting! He was the BEST at it! The guy is 82 and there were dozens of others there! He practices all the time. He LOVES golf and apparently is getting really good at it. Just thought I'd share that with ya. I'm very proud of him.  Thank you for your reply Ele! :)

I am envious of him. I am only 66 and will never play golf again due to numerous physical problems on my right side. I can barely hold a club without pain. I donated my clubs for a charity auction. This post was edited by Element 99 at April 18, 2018 6:14 AM MDT

Geez Ele I did not know. I am so sorry to hear that. Jim has a compressed disc in his back and it causes him constant pain. But it isn't debilitating pain and whether he plays golf/tennis or not the back hurts. He loves it so and I'm telling you I still can't get over that he WON! He practices all the time and plays a lot and if he makes a Birdie or two he is on a cloud the entire day. His goal of course is a hole-in-one and I wish that for him. He says one time he got very close to it. When you were able to play did you LOVE it too? I'm not an athlete at all but I tried to play and it just isn't something I can manage. With golf there are too many things you have to consider from weather to the way the grass looks to your stance and the club you choose etcetera etcetera etcetera.  Anyway I wanted to share that with you not even knowing that you had played golf. I hope you are not in constant pain 24/7.  That you get a break from it often. I get arthritic flareups occasionally but they are short-lived. A day or two at the most and then they go away and I'm not bothered for a month! I've VERY LUCKY. Thank you for your informative reply m'dear! I appreciate it! :) This post was edited by RosieG at April 18, 2018 6:24 AM MDT
