The leftist media is very good at glutting the airwaves with "details" that are chock full of misleading and false information. Their mindset is, if you report lies and misleading information long enough and at high enough levels, some people are bound to believe it. What you mentioned in your question is only two of such attempts by the liberal media. Don't get me wrong, many already hated Trump simply because he beat Hillary Clinton and was elected President. And many already admired porn stars, Hollywood stars, and the music industry stars before the liberal media glut. Their agenda is clear and has been fairly successful.

Your expression is is a sobering thought for us all. Values can indeed become twisted when we dwell on the more salacious side of life. Hatred does have a way of dragging one down morally and intellectually. I think what you you actually despise is not the current administration, nor the one heading it up. It's more of a strong distaste for  ideas that stand in opposition to your own. Hatred and intolerance seem to go hand in hand in this life. Public debate and the exchange of political and social ideas is no place for the immature among us.
