    It's always been that way. The difference is that those who are positive usually know it. On the other hand, some share the negative because they are negative people but unlike the positive people, the negative ones don't recognize the fact that they are negative and if you point that out they get defensive and attack in a very negative manner.

    It's a simple plea/cry for attention.  Negativity always seems to manifest more sympathy and compassion from the populace thus people use and abuse it to their advantage.
