We all perceive/comprehend/experience things differently. In addition I think there is a definite element of gender bias. You?

Men and women experience life differently. It is inevitable. Expectations are different for them. Barriers/obstacles/challenges/experiences/failures/successes differ too.  We relate to our same gender more easily I think so if it is a "he said she said" situation the gals most likely will side with the gals and the guys with the guys. Seeing something through someone else's eyes? Impossible. But we do the best we can. Right?

Psychological studies show BOTH genders are biased toward women, and the bias in women is massive. Women's bias towards other women was found to be 4.5 times stronger than the male bias towards women.

I don't necessarily think so.  Though I agree with all the points in your third sentence.  I want to feel closer to women, to have more female friends, to respect and vote for women but too often they disappoint me.  Perhaps I expect more of them.  Men handle and organize themselves better and more effectively which I can respect and depend upon. Whereas we often want to be the center of attention, which we can really only practically be in certain circumstances, most men know they are not the center of attention which gives them a certain kind of insight fewer of us seem to possess.  We learn we can more depend upon men - even though they have no understanding of us.  Women are more willing to be sympathetic but are slow to go beyond that in any supportive way because too often we feel threatened by each other.  Especially if we envy each other.
