You know those TV commercials featuring abandoned/abused dogs? Some are shivering. All of them are so frightened and so sad. We can't watch those ads. It's too hard. Folks who do that to animals should be drawn and quartered and stretched until their limbs pop off. I am not joking. SIGH. Since we had to put down our beloved cat Tigger July 25, 2017 (but who remembers dates) we have become even more sensitized to such evil as that. I guess that puts us at 100% on the bleeding heart scale. As for SOB? I'm the one in the family who can be though I try to contain that part of me. I am not always successful. Jim is the antithesis of an SOB and so I figger he balances me out. He is good enough to offset me. A strong partnership. SIGH. Even writing about those poor mistreated animals is hard because the visuals keep coming up in my mind's eye. Thank you for your reply tom and Happy Saturday! :)

I have a good friend from Answerbag days who spends a lot of time in animal shelters and there are continuing efforts to adopt out these abused animals. She leads a very busy life what with a job and a family but I think that is one of her passions and she gives back not only with money and time but with her heart. I am very proud of her. She is one of the great ladies whom I am privileged to know. Thank you for your reply tom and Happy Sunday! :)
