What an amateurish site. What an amateurish test. What made you think you should share this?

This test is government nothingness dressed up like a professional tool.  Well, that's my opinion.

There's something to this, I think.  Here's more information:  www.escap.eu/bestanden/Research/Child%20abuse/felitti_1998_relationship_of_childhood_abuse_and_household.pdf

My score is a three but all the things that made it add up to three happened when I was 18 or older and pretty much at the same time so nothing to do with my childhood.

My score was three, but when I was a kid, all those things were considered normal.

    1. Did a parent or other adult in the household often … Swear at you, insult you, put you down, or humiliate you? or Act in a way that made you afraid that you might be physically hurt?

Just having an older brother made that pretty certain.

    4. Did you often feel that … No one in your family loved you or thought you were important or special? or Your family didn’t look out for each other, feel close to each other, or support each other?

My mother told me I was an accident. She seemed to think that was a cute thing to say.

    5. Did you often feel that … You didn’t have enough to eat, had to wear dirty clothes, and had no one to protect you?

With seven kids in the family it was just normal to raise chickens in the back yard and run out of food occasionally. A half gallon of milk cost an hour's wages in those days.

I just took a look at it.

I'm not sure about the relevance of the word "often" that qualifies the questions.

Some parental actions---even if done only once---are quite capable of producing everlasting results in a child that require professional help for the child to overcome.
