Everything is meant to wear out. The second law of thermodynamics basically says that everything (eventually) wears out. Nothing lasts forever. Everything has a “shelf life”. Therefore, everything – from your favorite pair of jeans to your own body to the universe itself - will eventually wear out. It’s not that it was designed cheaply or that it was made of inferior parts (some things are millions of years old and are still functioning). It’s just the way things are in this physical existence – whether we like it or not.
