Why vet? Just select the most stupid dumb people you can get. Who else would work for you?

The astonishing consistency of appointing the stupid dumb to government positions would be astonishing if anyone else did the selecting. The selectees/appointees can't even make it through to confirmation. The latest stupid dumb? The VA choice. Rejoice one and all. Another potential appointee hits the wall...can't pass the smell test. So much for getting THE BEST PEOPLE.

    True. But they first go through a dog&pony show for some who have to appear before the Senate for confirmation and get asked questions. Remember the stupid dumb Betsy de Vos, "Education" Secretary? They wasted weeks pretending to vet her and still they confirmed her. Just cut to the chase. Don't waste the time to put on a show to entertain folks. Pick the stupid dumb without going through all that hullabaloo. Just a thought. Thank you for your reply Addb and Happy Wednesday to thee. So many stupid dumbs are gone. Those remaining are embroiled in scandals. Almost everyone of the stupid dumbs spend money like drunken sailors. SIGH. More to come.
