Did you know that FloRida sampled the great Etta James for his "Good Feeling" song?

I was thrilled to no end when I found it out!
Listen to both - - the woman's voice is undeniably Etta but I didn't recognize.
FloRida used the first 32 seconds of Etta on her "Something's Got a Hold On Me" for his "Good Feeling."
So fun for me to know!
:)
Listen to the beginning of both if you have time - - fun!
I like a lot of FloRida's music but I love him for this!

Nice mix on the FloRida/Etta James contributor song... Etta (AKA 'Big Red'-Miss Peaches The Matriarch of R&B ) James is well represented in my extensive record collection...

I read a book on Etta..it was VERY revealing of her childhood and career.  Here's one of my favorite songs of EJ...

Oh, this is wonderful!! I've never heard it.
    :)
I like the back-up instrumentals, too -- especially that guitar (harp?) and piano parts.

I could have shortened my question a lot.
    :)
Basically, I like how FloRida used a part of one of Etta James' song for his song.

That part of the question I 'got'. It is finding the Etta James part of the song in there that has me stumped. Maybe because black singers have a somewhat different accent that I have difficulty hearing.

    Oh, sorry.
    :)
She's the first person singing in FloRida's "Good Feeling" song. And that's the part FloRida took from Etta's song.
    :)
