Macron lowered the boom on the don in his speech after the lovey dovey spectacle of the prior day. Now what does the don do/say? Macron won?

Macron has to go back home to France and his sweetie pie lovey dovey honey bunch routine with don wasn't going over very well. So he said what he believes in the speech to Congress leaving a furious don I expect. Wonder what the don will do to get revenge? He believes in doubling down at any slight and this was far more than a slight. It was full frontal show of might and truth and clearsighted independence. It was ANTI populism/nationalism. Now what don? A divorce from Macron so you have only Vlad to fall back on? You can't fire Macron. Marone!  :(

    Such things mean absolutely nothing. The left see everything through a social lens and it prevents them ever understanding reality. It's the mentality of prehistoric village life where everything was rooted in personal relationships. The modern world simply doesn't work like that.

    Trump is a nationalist and everyone knows it. Macron is globalist and everyone knows it. Neither side has any intention of changing. Both sides know that. Nothing that was said would be of any surprise to Trump. 

    The only reason that such speeches are given is to influence public opinion. It has no real effect on the relationship between France and the U.S.. Bizarrely you seem to partly recognise this since you note that his positive signals towards Trump "weren't going over too well", yet you seem to think that the speech means something more than just keeping the leftist globalist base happy. You seem to fantasise that Trump's position is somehow weaker now just because that treasonous POS ran his mouth. Nothing has changed.

    Trump doesn't need anyone to "fall back on". He's the president of a superpower. Macron, and the rest of the world, can form an long line and kiss his ass.
