Did you ever think that Kanye West would become President Trump's biggest celebrity supporter?

He represents two of the most left-leaning groups in America today: A-list celebrities and African-Americans. And a number of incidents and various figures have represented a gradually-increasing size in the pro-Trump celebrity crowd—coupled with a decline in popular support for the ultra-leftism for which Hollywood has become known. Consider how poorly the overtly anti-Trump 2018 Oscars did in the ratings or the resounding success of Roseanne Barr’s new show where she plays an openly pro-Trump character. How will the media handle this?

Kanye West is damaging to the Trump brand or in keeping with it. You might need to be outside of delusion to perceive this. Scrutinize his celeb supporters so far and see what you begin to notice. This post was edited by O-uknow at April 27, 2018 11:28 AM MDT

    Old news....
This is a new tweet from Kim about Kayne:

"To the media trying to demonize my husband let me just say this... your commentary on Kanye being erratic and his tweets being disturbing is actually scary," Kim began. "So quick to label him as having mental health issues for just being himself when he has always been expressive is not fair."

The left is having a heart attack. That a black man could be a Trump supporter....the horror.

There was another rapper who also tweeted that "just because you are black does not mean you have to be a democrat".  It is nice to see people thinking for themselves instead of being told what to think.

They are implying that West does not have any reasons for Trump support other than Trump was nice to him while he was in the hospital.  When in fact, West tweeted that Chicago was one of the reasons he supports Trump.  "Obama was there 8 yrs and nothing changed."  (my paraphrase)

That was one of Kayne's reasons. Not one of mine.
But the logic as heard a Pastor from Chicago explain was that Chicago was Obama's hometown....you would expect him to have made a point to help the town....but nothing and is not involved to this day in improving Chicago's troubles. Also Obama's former Chief of Staff is now mayor and still no improvements.
Trump has offered Federal help to combat excessive violence in the town.

The president is a president of ALL the people, not just the people in the City from where he hails.  If the people of Chicago choose to tear up their city when they are "protesting," how is that anyone's fault but their own?  Maybe they should try staying in school, getting an education, learning a trade, going out and looking for work and stop expecting government to do it for them.  How about that?

As I said it was not my reasoning but was mentioned specifically  by Kayne....people do tend to believe a politican will do things to help their local area. I am from S. IL orginally and I know people believed Obama would do things to help the state because he was their  Sen. He did not in fact did things to hurt it. (fighting new coal plants opening....costing very good jobs to be lost)

As far as the rest of your statement...I agree 100%. People need to take responsible for their own life and make choices to improve it.

I'm sorry, but not opening coal plants is not my idea of not helping a community.  Do you really want to have coal plants spewing all that crap into the air we breathe again?  Coal miners died from horrible lung illnesses.  So you have a job and it kills you in your mid-40s.  What the heck is wrong with your thinking?

Where do you think nearly 1/3 of our electricity comes from? Coal.
Obama is not just not open coal plants...he caused them to be shut down. Lung issues have been on the decrease for decades.

The point is people believe local politicians will help the locals....ie. Chicago but they got nothing.
But that is alright Obama converted many to Trump voters.

Coal is a pollutant of the air we all breathe - not jus those who worked in the mines.  I'm betting you think it's fine for chemical plants to release their chemicals into the water supply and that the earth is flat, too.
