    The Chinese have not discussed their thoughts with me.

    What we call music theory was invented by Christians to glorify their God. Chinese are on their own.

    IDK whether China thinks American Rock'n Roll sounds like noise but this does.

    I can only imagine that they do. I went to the Peking opera and  my first thought was that it sounded like cats in heat. I don't think we share the same taste in music with the Chinese.

    Rock and roll, the style, lasted from 1955 to some time in the early 60s. It was identified by a strong preference for saxophone, and was lost from sight as the electric guitar was developed. But the term remains a slang expression meaning "any American music".
