Despite his obestiy the john of don slithers so easily. He slithers out of promises by holding rallies and promising more. Clever, eh?

Just get him up in front of a microphone on a stage playing to a crowd cheering him on and he repeats the same old promises of his pre-presidency campaign that he hasn't kept and the folks go nuts for it and believe him. Now at some point they ought to expect him to KEEP those promises or stop promising but his worshippers are a special breed. They expect everything he tells them to come true and the day of reckoning will never come for them because they live on his promises and that is all they will ever get. Why they don't mind I don't understand but I don't need to and they don't care. They just love to hear him talk and promise and insult and attack and that gives them their jollies until the next rally. Like hamsters in a cage they keep going in circles and don't seem to mind going nowhere.

    That's what's hard to understand... people say we will give him a chance and judge him on his performance, but he is performing badly, NOT keeping promises and still they fawn and excuse him.... I don't understand :(

    They worship him so whatever he  does/says is okay by them. He breaks promises. They don't care. He supports things that hurt them. They don't care. They are besotted with love and their loved one is perfect no matter what he does or says or doesn't do or doesn't say. He knew that. That's why he said he could go out and shoot someone and none of them would abandon him. None of them corrected him or challenged him so you give a jacka** an inch and he takes 10,000 miles.  He is what they want and nothing will convince them of otherwise. As they drown because of him they will still be defending/supporting/worshipping/praising him. That's how they're wired. Go figger! Thank you for your reply Addb and Happy Tuesday to thee! :)
