A matter of opinion. Isn't everything? Facts are only that if they support what you think. Otherwise they stink! Right?

Doesn't your opinion control everything you think? What you disagree with you label FAKE and what you agree with is your only truth. But your opinion is what decides what is true and what is hooey. Is your opinion      your most valuable possession? It definse you, outlines you, labels you, restricts you. What  more important?

We can't usually verify facts for ourselves. Most of the time, accepting something as a fact rests on trusting someone not to lie to you, not logic.

There are two types of opinion. Some opinions are views on subjective questions that have no correct answer e.g. "Is red a nicer colour than blue?"  Other opinions are views on the nature of objective reality. There is a correct answer, it's just a matter of debate what that correct answer is since no one has been able to prove the truth to everyone's satisfaction e.g. "Is socialism a better and more moral system of economics than capitalism?". If we had a hotline to God, the matter would be settled but we don't. (So we'll probably be cursed with leftism forever.)

Some people don't believe that an objective moral reality exists. To them everything is just whatever society decides. If society decides something is good, it's good. If society decides something is bad, it's bad. (This is why the far left hate the concept of God. It creates a sense of objective moral reality that undermines the moral authority of the state.)

You can also find truth by looking inwards at your own nature, not just outwards at the world. Others can lie to you but you can always choose to be honest with yourself. Know thyself and admit what human nature truly is. Seeing the world clearly naturally follows.
