Apparently conspiracy theories are seductive/alluring/sexy/intriguiging/beguiling/exciting. For some. The some with very dull lives?

No wonder they hold onto the conspiracy for dear life. They have nothing else to bring them joy, contentment or a feeling of belonging. They bond with others exactly like themselves with dull lives. Which is why conspiracy ehotires will always find a niche because dull will always be present. A nice juicy scandal tickles the imagination. Except when the scandal is about someone you adore and then of course you abhor the whole thing. A merry-go-round of adore abhor ignore implore bore. It's a small world after all.

It is old news.....is it a big surprise that a billionaire playboy lied about sex????   It should not be a surprise and it is not a crime.

You must have a dull life then because you believe in a whole bunch of them, like Trump Russia collusion.

"Conspiracy theory" is just a stupid expression for organised corruption, something as old as civilisation itself.

Doubting that corruption can happen on a large scale is stupid. It only requires conspiracy between a small number of key people at the top. Everyone knows organised crime networks like drug cartels exist, but there is only conspiracy at the very highest levels of the organisation. Most of the people who work for the drug cartels etc are compartmentalised and only know what they need to know, which is virtually nothing.

In organisations like the media, the government etc, most people who work for the system don't even know it. They just know which way the wind is blowing. They know what would advantage their careers and what would disadvantage their careers. They're not part of any conspiracy. Cheese attracts rats. No conspiracy needed.
