Is killing an animal for its fur cruel but killing a cow for its meat fine? Where is the line?

    You use most of a cow. Of a sheep. A mink is killed ONLY for its pelt, it's inedible and produces only enough milk for its young.

    I think way back when it was very brave of folks to be the first to try something. Imagine having no precedent or template or directions? Doing anything must have been very scary. Thank you for your reply Sbf. I wish it were possible to see back to the beginning and learn who all the first-timers were that blazed the trails the rest of now follow? :)
