They seem pretty much the same to me.  Better not to think about such things but just earn your daily wage and put it by.

There is no getting to the “end” of a rainbow. A Fool’s errand.
Gambling can be a blast if you have the extra coin to spend, but lottery tickets are not much fun.

Yeah I always thought searching for the pot of gold was for people who believe in the supernatural and gambling isfor those who realize material reality.

I always told customers who purchased lottery tickets - "just give your money to me and I'll give you the same odds of getting it back as you have of winning".
Gambling is NOT a way to get rich.  The "house" ALWAYS comes out ahead!  (whether the "house" is a cassino or a lottery commision)

The Supremes have just decided that states can make sports gambling legal.  Gambling is going to grow.  Of course people already do it but it is going to grow, no doubt.

I would buy lottery tickets before chasing the pot of gold.

Lottery tickets cost money -tracking down the pot of gold gives you exercise and fresh air.

You go right ahead.  I'll spend a couple of bucks on lottery tickets myself.  :)
