    Probably only a lurid metaphor. Donald Trump certainly didn't invent it - whether he inspired one or not, I have no idea.

    As Righty1 indicates, the phrase is in the Rolling Stones' hit, "Jumping Jack Flash" but I don't know if the song is original to them or they simply covered it.

    Not from Prohibition or American Civil War days, is it?
