The sanctity of life. What a crock. Every life matters. Bullsh**! If life were valued in the US wouldn't there be fewer murders?

We read of terrorists blowing themselves and others up and we say they are savages and don't value life. Look who is talking! The US hasn't valued life since the NRA took over. At its beginning it wasn't the violence supporter it is today. It exists to support gun manufacturers. That's it. The NRA LOBBIES for gun makers. A very strong lobby because they buy the cooperation of spineless toady pols who are available for sale on the cheap. They grovel at the feet of the NRA. They need a good rating from the NRA or their supporters won't vote for them. Massacres and slaughters be dam*ed. Who cares? SIGH.

  • There certainly would be no more "Planned Parenthood". As long as we murder the unborn, the "sanctity of life" is indeed a crock. Thanks for helping me make my point.

How typical of the far left. You can't separate the legal principles the state is bound to uphold, from the actions of the individuals. They are two completely separate things.

As Uncle Bob said, it is the left that betrays the principal of the sanctity of life by supporting abortion.

The left always tries to shift away from individual responsibility (e.g. the responsibility of a murderer for a murder), towards collectively blaming entire groups of people or society as a whole. The left can go to hell. I'm not responsible for what other people do.

You have a choice.  You can respect the lives of others or not.  You may decide that since you believe that this country does not believe in the "sanctity of life" then that gives you the right and impetus to start blowing away your enemies or anyone you don't happen to like. That  is what some people believe. I don't find that in our Constitution of Bill of Rights.  You may decide that since the NRA exists to support the gun industry  you have every right to start killing whoever you wish to kill.  Of course the NRA does not support murdering people either.  Any more than the automobile industry supports running people down on the streets.  Or you can decide that the lives of others really DO matter to you so you would not even think of killing them.  The choice is yours.  The responsibility is yours.
