If you were on your death bed right now, what would you be glad you had done? What would you regret?

My grandmother's mother was a prostitute.  She gave up my grandmother at birth and when she was dying sent for my grandmother to say something to her.  We'll never know what she wanted to say because my grandmother refused to go see her.  Is there someone you'd like to say something to before you go?

I’d be glad I devoted my life to the animals I rescued.

I don’t carry regrets. They can be too big a burden to bear.

I would be (and am, beyond words) glad that I have lived, and did it my way (Sinatra comes to mind), and regret that I couldn’t have for just a bit longer.

My father's father got religion and moved to a farm in Tahellangone, Utah and G'ma left him. So my father was raised by a frustrated religious nut. My mother's mother died in the flu epidemic, so g'pa split up the family, sending the kids to different states. Mom was 12 before she learned that she had brothers and sisters. I took care of her the last six years of her life, and she never would admit that she was glad to have a son at home to look after her.

WTF would you say to such dingbats?

Honest answer - I don't know. Always feel a little uneasy thinking about death.
