It's called conscription Rosie.....you are forced to join a army just because you were born or lived in in a certain place or country........
You might not want to kill others even if it means you might get killed by invading forces.... Refuse to enlist and get shot by your own fellow countrymen for being a objector.......

The FIRST AMENDMENT to the Constitution speaks of Congress not abridging freedom of speech, of the press, of the right to gather in peaceable assembly and to petition the government for redress of grievanceds.
