I'm wondering how Trump is going to spin this? I bet he loses with less votes than any candidate in history by the time his mouth is finally SHUT. Will he even make the debates? I'll bet he bails.

He is being shown for what he is a SHAM and a coward.

I wonder if the GOP finds a way to replace him even at this late date.

  • Is this about the hit he publicly put out on his opponent?

No.  I actually do not agree with the public uproar.  He has blatently said things he could be nailed for.  This is not one of them.

I am just watching the media report how group after group that has supported him in the past are jumping ship.  Most are cowards looking for a safe political place to land.  Some in the real world have finally woken up.

He is NOT a popular guy even with his own following.   He can only pull so many tricks out of his hat until every can see his tactics are fake and not magical at all.

Billionaires are not cowards. In fact, Rump needs body guards to keep HIM from beating up people in public. He is a large fellow.

Almost since the beginning people have been giving voice to the idea that Trump is secretly in league with the Clintons to get Hillary elected.  That he, Trump, is some kind of Clintonian agent provocateur or Manchurian candidate.

I'm starting to believe it.  The system is rigged alright.  It has completely inoculated itself against any and all attempts at electoral repair.  At this point I only have two questions:

    1) What's in it for Trump that he would so willingly scuttle the future of his own country, and

    2) How long will the American people tolerate this monstrous charade?

It looked like that, but NO way is this guy a shill for anyone.

He is a total and complete narcissist.

He is so damned idiotic that it DOES look to be that way.  But his followers and those who have desperately tried to support him are proof positive that there are idiots galore who think his words have merit.

That is what he is pandering to.  There are morons aplenty to get him to the top.  But morons cannot keep anything going for long.  They just destroy with negative stupid wherever they land.

Let's put it this way. Whether his assistance to the Clinton campaign was deliberate or a byproduct of megalomania, his candidacy WILL have had the net effect of completely destroying America's (putatively) two-party system WHILE insuring a Clinton victory.

So he may as well be on the payroll of the Clinton Foundation even if he isn't already.

But I think we're in agreement about the American electorate's capacity for stupidity on a scale henceforth unimaginable. WHEN or IF they ever wake up, you can bet that "second amendment people" will be the least of our worries.
