It's Mom and Dad for me and almost everybody I know refers to their parents as Mom and Dad.  The exceptions are my cousins who live in another country.  They always use Mama and Papa.

When my sis and I were younger it was mommy and daddy. When we got older we switched to "mom" but it was always DADDY for our father Still today we speak of daddy but never mommy. Once she became mom that's where we left it. I never thought about it before now! Funny. We were both "DADDY'S GIRLS". Thank you for your reply Liv and Happy Thursday! :)

When I was real little I called them Mommy and Daddy but I think for me they both changed to just Mom and Dad around the same time when I got a little bit older.

Our dad died young. He was only 54. I was 20 and married and my sister was 13 so she wasl still his "little girl". We have always referred to our dad as daddy. Nothing else seems right. I'm gonna mention that to her the next time we chat. I'm 80 and she is 73 and we still talk about daddy! Go figger! Thank you for your reply Liv! :)

I'm sorry to hear that.  It must be tough.  My own dad's father died when my dad was 18.
