(According to a story on NPR) at the time the Constitution was written, there were only 3 federal crimes ... and they were piracy, treason, and one the interviewed person couldn't remember. So if the President had pardoned himself from those, he would have been impeached by Congress.
Of course, when the Constitution was written, the government wasn't controlled by two Private Organizations.

If and only if the Dems get back the majority in the House and Senate in the November mid-term election will impeachment of this treacherous treasonous clown occur. Otherwise we're stuck with him.
