All other things being equal would you prefer a matinee idol governnor (Clark Gable) or a folksy friendly govermpr (Andy Griffith)? WHY?

I wouldn't prefer either one because Hollywood has nothing of any substance or importance to offer. I would prefer a person that would do what's best and correct for the state and its citizens. :)
