Do you have a favorite R.E.M. song?


"I Wanted To Be Wrong" is mine -- I'll post that one in a separate answer

Another top favorite is this one -- "The Sidewinder Sleeps Tonite"

great video to me, I like how everything and the band is filmed and singer Michael Stipe never fails to mesmerize me

And Stipe's giggle at the 2:30 to 2:34 mark, after he sings " . . . or a reading from Dr. Seuss"   :)

    This is another favorite of mine, too! And I've always liked the video -- the part I remember most is when everyone dances at the middle-to-the-end part of the song. And I like the woman from B-52's singing with them.
    I find the song and video fun and uplifting.

    Maybe you already know this -- I checked again and it seems to be true - - Stipe and the group do not/did not like this song at all.
