Nothing.  They already know it.   They're not supporting him because he's a archetype of normalcy (or cerebral acumen).  They're supporting him because he's not "one of them." They're supporting him because he's being vilified and dehumanized by all quarters of the establishment.

And the only thing his supporters loathe more than Hillary IS the establishment.

My guess is about the same as the Hillary supporters, when will they actually see how corrupt she is, or will they subscribe to the ostrich tactics {Keeping their heads in the ground}.

Rosie, I'm not a Trump supporter but I do agree, he is nutty and if he loses this election he has no one to blame but himself. In the same line of thought, I'm not a Hillary Clinton supporter either and if she loses the election, she has no one but herself to blame. Let's face facts, the Republicans and Democrats are equally as nutty and, I might add, equally as corrupt.

When was the last time a person, Democrat or Republican, sat in the seat of the President, that "did not" blame someone else for their own failed promises and policies? Politicians are crybabies. They whine, cry, and moan about anything and everything while passing the blame onto someone else

U.S. president Harry S. Truman had a sign with the inscription "The Buck Stops Here" on his desk. This was meant to indicate that he didn't "pass the buck" to anyone else but accepted personal responsibility for the way the country was governed. We need that same mind set, to once again, permeate our political landscape and the citizens as well. Stop blaming another and take responsibility for your own actions.

If a persons takes over a political office that is in shambles, don't whine about but rather sit down and do the best you can to straighten it out but make sure it is for the good of the country and not to pat yourself on the back.

You reach a fork in the road, one signs says..Hilliary route is a BAD route..  The other sign says, Trump route is the WORST route.. Personally, I'd take a common-sense approach, as to what route to travel, and take the bad route..it's safer than the worst route..

(common sense, judgment, wisdom mean ability to reach intelligent conclusions, sense implies a reliable ability to judge and decide with soundness, prudence, and intelligence <a choice showing good sense>.)     Common sense is not always common in people..

My choice would have been Elizabeth Warren. But she was too smart to run for prez. Carson  ran and was attacked by Trump and now is sucking up to him. Sad ending I think. Thank you for your reply Nelly! :)

Common sense is very uncommon m'dear. Witness the 13 million plus folks that are supporting a cartoon character who is despicable in every way. I mean c'mon! None of that makes any sense at all . The more outrageous bullsh** he regurgitates the more they love him and support him and cling to him. There is something very wrong with them. And hopefully the rest of us won't have to suffer for it! Thank you for your thoughtful reply Beans and Happy Saturday m'dear! :)

    Hello N:

So, there's NO level of nuttiness that would persuade them to choose their country over their hate for Hillary???  That's pretty scary.

Unfortunately for Trump this seems to be the major topic on all shows dealing with what is happening politically.    There were three men (it was 3 a.m. and I awoke and turned on the TV to fall back asleep so I didn't notice their names) discussing Trump's mental health yesterday on PBS.

Besides narcissist, one man, who was a psychiatrist, said that he suffers from a type of mental illness where he cannot keep a thought going without adding an insult or contradicting himself within a span of 8 seconds.  It is an actual condition he suffers from.

Then I fell back asleep.   IT fits though, does it not?

He is losing this election by a lot and it is because of his big mouth and mentally ill mind.

You know she is my friend. I have tried to get through but she is very loyal. I asked her awhile back what the worst thing Trump said and she mentioned his attack on the Latino judge Curiel. But then she said she did some investigation and found out he belong to La Raza or some such Latino organization.  Which means she thought Trump was justified. Of all the horrible terrible disgusting things he has said that is what  she found most disappointing. I am at a loss  here excon. I guess we all have our blind spots and if hatred for Hillary is big enough it wipes out everything else. Thank you for your reply my friend. :) ((hugs))

Exactly. No one in his circle loves him enough to rescue him from any of this. They stand back and smile and look beautiful/handsome while he is doing everything he can to destroy himself. Are they afraid of him  or afraid if they anger him he will cut them off? Is he the meal ticket that cannot be attacked lest he cut people off? I don't know.  But I see no love or support for the very ill man. Only the meal ticket . How sad is that? Thank you for your reply Sharonna and Happy Saturday! :)

  • The intelligent among us are left out of this election entirely. I notice that while you constantly and passionately berate and belittle Trump, you don't seem to recognize any character flaws or shortcomings in the alternative candidate. At least if you do, it's not shown here. I count myself among the intelligent but it doesn't require genius to see that only the gullible would buy into the GOP or Democrat campaigns. This is where we are today: the standard bearers of the major parties are unworthy and unqualified to grace the office of president. One a pathetic novice in politics and the other a pitiful political failure for more than two decades.God help us.

It's not just Hillary. Hillary is merely emblematic of a completely unresponsive establishment which they truly do 'hate'--and no, at this point I doubt very seriously that Trump could do or say anything which would staunch or assuage their outrage.  People are pissed. They're pissed like nothing I've ever seen before. They're pissed because their country and culture are being destroyed all around them, and they're pissed because they have no say in the matter.  Every time they try to have a say, they, too, are vilified, marginalized and ultimately dehumanized by gover-business media.

And yes, that's more than 'pretty' scary.  It's to the point where, if this seismic shift in the political landscape doesn't work, the next step will be balkanization or Civil War 2.0   A nation's leadership cannot completely ignore their constituency forever and expect there to be no consequences.  (Now ask me how much I wanna be wrong.)

A politician is nutty? OMG! What is the world coming to?

Barry Goldwater was not a bit nutty. He built his campaign on good character and leadership. Nobody has made that mistake since.

You are wrong. You just don't notice it when I do ask hard questions about Hillary Polk. Others continually and consistently make the exact same mistake as you. You see what you want to see and not what is there. Thank you for your reply.

I disagree. He was a very extreme pol JV. Very extreme. Are you that extreme that you actually believe his campaign was all about good character and leadership? Thank you for your reply.
