Any experiences welcome; I'm thinking of contacting a friend I haven't seen in 23 years...we were very good friends but I am nervous because its' been so long. Yes, I've reconnected with old friends via FB from HS who I haven't seen or spoken to in years. Usually I send a msg first, and if they reply, then I follow with a friend request. Just don't be offended if you get blown off.
I contacted my first love about 3 years ago on FB. We had not seen each other in 18 years and actually not hung out in 23 years, we hung out for awhile and it was great like no time had passed really. Neither of us wanted anything more than friends and he eventually got his ex-girlfriend back and I'm very happy for him. :-D It was awesome to reconnect with him, so worth it I'm glad I did. Do it, you have nothing to lose!
