Skin-bleaching products have been on the market globally for at least 75 to 100 years, maybe longer. They're prevalent in societies wherein the dominant Caucasian influences in advertising, employment, relationships, cosmetics, entertainment, etc., have convinced the masses that the darker one's skin is, the less valuable he or she is.
