Is there more an appropriate time to be aware of the blasphemy of sungod worship than the longest day of the year which is today?

I'm not sure what's going on around you ... but I haven't seen anybody worshiping any "sun god".

Blasphemy is a victimless non-crime, invented by clergy to enforce their holds over the fearful masses. 

In more sophisticated circles, such things once labelled “blasphemy” are simply known as free speech. In such places, pagan worship is seldom a point of concern. 

I don't know who would celebrate the summer solstice, as opposed to celebrating the winter solstice aka Christmas, on December 25th.
