Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» Stonehenge was built 2000 years before Pythagoras was born yet there is evidence that the Pythagoream Theorem* was used to build it. WHAT?
Thousands of years ago it was said:"There is nothing new under the sun". The entire history of man includes knowledge and technology that was lost or forgotten for one reason or another until someone rediscovered it and had the honor of having their name associated with it.
True. So he did not discover/invent/create anything at all. He just put his name to what already had always existed. Timing is everything I guess. Took the credit though. Clever fella! Thank you for your reply tom! :)
Historical Note: while we call it Pythagoras' Theorem, it was also known by Indian, Greek, Chinese and Babylonian mathematicians well before he lived !
Everything that exists exists NOW and always has. It is our AWARENESS of it that is sequential not the thing itself . Thank you for your reply D and Happy Friday to thee.
